Like most teenagers, Marisol wants to find herself and fit in. After witnessing Marisol being cruelly abandoned by her 2 school friends another young girl, Kara, who seems to understand her, befriends her and gives her a makeover. Seduced by Kara’s friendship and her perceived glamour, she accompanies her to a party while her mother is out at work. She blacks out and the next day to her horror, she wakes up to find herself in the hands of sex traffickers…
The story will be told in a non-exploitive way with a goal of raising awareness on this very important issue and the various ways sex traffickers recruit and exploit young girls.
