Sebastian is currently Creative & Executive Director of Dacian Wolf Productions, a stage and film development and production company, and Partner in the feature production company Magica Films. He is a Lecturing Professor of Acting and Movement at Pace University, NYC, and holds a BFA in Dance & Theater and an MBA in Accounting.
Sebastian is an experienced acting/movement teacher, a director/choreographer, a writer, and an actor. He started his performing arts career as a student at the George Enescu conservatory for the Arts in his native Bucharest, Romania. After arriving in the USA he continued his studies at the New Jersey School of Ballet. He has toured with the internationally acclaimed Pilobolus Dance Theatre and has taught movement and choreography classes in Romania, Moscow, Korea, Japan, Italy, Chile, as well as at many US universities. He has choreographed repertory for universities and dance studios as well as for his own Sebastian Sextet Dance Theatre. He is active as a movement coach, director, and choreographer for stage and film, most recently at The Cherry Lane in NYC and Premiere Stages in NJ.
Sebastian is a graduate of the Two-Year Professional Acting Program at the William Esper Studio. He has since performed a wide range of roles both in and outside of NYC, such as Garcin in Sartre’s No Exit and the lead in Michael Dovid’s The Forest.
Because of his experience with both professional dancing and acting, as well as with screenwriting, Sebastian is uniquely able to identify critical aspects that are common to these art forms and, therefore, can offer his creative projects a practical integration of these concepts that will serve the aesthetic, the value, and the working environment of that project. He also brings into his toolbox his studies of anatomy and physiology at the University of Medicine in Romania, his interest in Cognitive Psychology, and his experience as a ballroom-dance and Argentine Tango instructor. He is also a certified Motivational & Effectiveness Coach.
